Q: My iPad locks up when downloading A/FD regions.
A: There are reported issues with power management and WiFi on the iPad. On the Settings App, Brightness and Wallpapers section, turn the “Auto-Brightness” to “OFF”. This has been shown to help when downloading large files over WiFi.
Q: What is the cost to download FAA A/FD files for use with Power Pilot?
A: FAA A/FDs are free to download with any level membership on the “TheDigitalPilot.com”. Basic membership is free. Click here to join.
Q: What username and password do I use to access downloads on Power Pilot?
A: Use the same username and password that you used when you joined the site at TheDigitalPilot.com.
Q: Are you going to provide FAA NACO Approach Plates?
